Marion County civil process is open during normal business hours at two locations: The Hannibal courthouse for all papers served within the city limits of Hannibal from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and at the Marion County Jail in Palmyra, Mo., for the rest of the county from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office strives to serve Civil Process effectively and efficiently for the citizens of Marion County. *Mileage is based on round trips at $0.565 per mile. *We do not bill for mileage within city limits of Hannibal or Palmyra. If service requires additional trips, mileage fees will be billed for each attempt of service documented.
